Trino Academics was created as a place for homeschooling families to feel supported and empowered to achieve excellence in academics and in their faith. Our goal is to ensure families have access to biblically based teaching and tutors who can help educate their children. Within this devoted community, students will excel and be encouraged to reach their full potential academically and spiritually.
We are a Non Profit organization located inside Church on the Sound in Stony Brook, NY. Trino intends to be an affordable resource to local families.

Heather Claiborne, Founder and Tutor
Heather was a public school math teacher for 10 years before becoming a mother to her four girls. She completed her Bachelors at Saint Joseph's College and her Masters at Stony Brook University. During her time in the classroom, she taught Algebra 2 and her students obtained the highest passing rate in the district. By setting high standards and bringing her students and teaching before the Lord in prayer on a continual basis, her students rise to excellence..

Angelina is a certified Nutritional Therapist and former staff member of Three Village Church, where she was the director of Faith Preschool before she welcomed her third child. She graduated cum laude from The University at Albany’s School of Business and received her certification in Nutritional Therapy from The Health Sciences Academy. Angelina is a homeschool mom of three and is passionate about introducing others to Christ..
